A Chapter of Beyond
Modern Continuations
These are not Beatrix Potter's books. After her death in 1943, her characters passed into the hands of new authors and illustrators — Emma Thompson's three Peter Rabbit sequels in the 2010s, the modern picture-book series illustrated by Eleanor Taylor, and others. We collect them here because the universe she built deserves a complete view, not because the writing is hers. Each entry is a review of a modern continuation, clearly attributed.
